Selecting & Registering for Courses
Every spring, students begin the process of course selection and registration for the upcoming school year. Course selection sheets are available for each grade to help identify departments and courses available to students.
- Registration and information meetings are held for families in February.
Dual Enrollment (DE) classes allows Briarcrest students to take a challenging college course to earn both high school and college credit simultaneously. The course follows a college curriculum, but is taught by Briarcrest teachers through a Biblical worldview. College credit is awarded through our partnership with the University of Memphis.
Advanced Placement (AP) classes are college level courses, taught at Briarcrest through a Biblical worldview. AP courses are designed for high achieving students wishing to pursue challenging coursework while seeking possible college credit in high school. Students have the potential to earn college credit by scoring well on a national AP exam at the end of the course.
