Elementary Guidance and Student Services

BCS Elementary provides guidance and assistance for students and families while navigating the academic, social, and emotional challenges presented during the elementary years of development. In alignment with the Briarcrest Christian School mission, the elementary guidance department seeks to guide students in knowing and honoring Jesus Christ as the son of God, learning biblical truths, and pursuing excellence and integrity through academic, creative, and athletic endeavors. We understand that the elementary years are a pivotal time in the students’ spiritual life.

The guidance department strives to provide each student with the tools necessary to obtain academic, social, and emotional success while growing in “wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men.” (Luke 2:52)

Elementary guidance provides support to students and families during challenging times. A variety of services and resources are available to students and families including monitoring student progress and performance, coordinating tutoring services, and working as a liaison between parents and teachers and/or service providers.
