A New Family Q & A event for all new parents and students will be held in the elementary gym on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.
The Q & A for Little Saints, PreK, and JrK will be held from 3:00-4:00 pm. The event for Senior Kindergarten through Fifth grade will meet from 4:00-5:00 pm.
Parents will have the opportunity to talk to teachers, administrators, and PTF parents as well as purchase needed supplies ahead of registration day. Students will get to play with others in the gym while parents talk and shop. We look forward to seeing all of our new BCS families!
We will host registration on Monday, August 8.
On Registration Day, you will find your classroom and meet your teacher. Please bring all purchased school supplies to your teacher's room during this time. Uniforms are not required on this day. Some supplies, such as seat sacks and book bags for LS-1st graders, will be sold in the elementary gym.
Parent meetings are scheduled for the evening of registration (Monday, August 8). Parents of LS-4th grade will attend meetings in your children's classrooms. 5th grade parents will meet in Sparks Chapel with the 5th grade teacher team.
You will have the opportunity to get to know your child's teacher(s) and hear important information about your teacher's policies and procedures for the classroom, lunch information, carline procedures, early care, after care, and more.
The first full day of school is Tuesday, August 9, 2022. School uniforms should be worn. Early care begins at 7:00 am. Little Saints-1st grade early care will be in classrooms. See posters in the lobby to direct you to the correct locations. Early care for 2nd-5th graders is in the cafeteria. Drop-off carlines at the expansion entrance and the main lobby entrance begin at 7:45 am. Teachers and staff will be in carline to greet students. You are welcome to park in the main elementary parking lot and walk your child to class. Class begins at 8:10 am.
All students enrolled in the elementary must follow the dress code and uniform policy. PK-12th grade students wear Dennis uniforms. Little Saints may wear generic uniforms in Briarcrest approved colors. All students may wear BCS t-shirts with uniform bottoms on Fridays. This policy also includes requirements/limitations for hair and shoes.

Most supplies are provided for students in pre-packs purchased by the school. Some grade-level specific supplies should be purchased and brought to the homeroom teacher on registration day or the first day of school. Please see the supply lists below.
Morning care is available at 7:00 a.m. daily (no charge). After school care (called Briarcare) hours are 3:10 - 6:00 pm. (There is a charge for after school care.) More information and online registration will be available in July on the Briarcare webpage . Location of morning and afternoon care will be posted at registration.
Parent Parking Decal - All parents must have a new parent parking sticker each school year on their vehicles. To obtain the sticker, please login to the Briarcrest website as a parent and go to the "Resource" page. Click on the link for the parent parking decal. Once filled out and submitted online, your new decal will be mailed to you. Each family receives two free decals each year. After that, the cost is $5 each and can be paid online with the online form.
