Saints complete weekend sweep in Louisiana by defeating Catholic 14-3

After a great start to the season on Friday night, the Saints completed the weekend sweep in Louisiana by defeating host Catholic 14-3.  In a slow first half, the Saints led by a score of 5-2 after Catholic was able to find the back of the net with 1 second remaining in the half.  The Saints rebounded in the 2nd half and outscored the Bears 8-0 to take a comanding 13-2 led heading into the 4th quarter.  The final score was 14-3 in favor of the Saints.  Senior Zach Tucker led all scoreres with 7 goals and 1 assist and was paced by fellow attackman Jake Purkey (3 G and 2A) and freshman Jay Austin (2 G and 1 A).  Running mate Ben Austin also contributed 2 goals.  Both long stick midfielders, Miller Riggs and Tucker Lowrance, had 3 asssists combined.  The Saints return to action as they travel to Nashville to take on Division opponents USN and Ensworth.
