2017 BRACE Judges
Bill Hickerson has been with the West Tennessee Regional Art Center (WTRAC) since 1998. As the Center's only full-time employee, he serves as curator, director, and facilities manager. His current title is Executive Director. He was named the 2016 Tennessee Art Educator of the Year.
Grace Stewart is currently the Director of Collections and Exhibitions at the Metal Museum in Memphis, TN. She also serves on ArtsMemphis' ArtsAccelerator Council, is co-Chair of the Professional Development Committee for the Association of Art Museum Curators, co-founded the Memphis chapter of Emerging Museum Professionals, and manages the Legacy Committee with the CLTV (a black arts non-profit in Memphis.) Grace received her BFA in Fine Arts with a focus in Ceramic Sculpture from Alfred University and her MA in Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
Jenny M. Duggan Jackson has been a staff member of the Dixon Gallery and Gardens for the past 17 years and is a freelance writer and novelist. A graduate of the University of Memphis with an MA in English Literature and an MFA in Creative Nonfiction, Jenny enjoys Impressionist and Renaissance art, chess, drawing, reading, and long walks to her computer where she sits and contemplates her half-finished novel.
