Positions are available in 2-year olds through 4th grade. Experience working with children through church, day care, schools or other structured programs is preferred.
The position is Monday through Friday, but less than 5 days a week will be considered. The hours are from 2:30-5:30 each day. Briarcare does not offer care during holidays, fall and spring break, as well as special days on the school calendar.
The Building Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the building facilities. Technicians are broken into 2 position. Middle/Elementary Technician and High School/Sparks Technician. Although positions are broken into two areas, crossover and cross training is required. The Building Technician reports to the Building and Grounds Manager. The Building Technician must conform to all personal appearance standards required by Briarcrest Christian School. The building technician duties and qualifications are, but not limited to the following:
Good Mechanical skills Hang large whiteboards and bulletin boards
Good Communication skills Move boxes
Painting Must be able to lift 80 pounds
Plumbing repairs Drive a 14-passenger vehicle
Electrical repairs Work in multiple buildings
Minor carpentry skills Possess good people skills
Minor equipment repairs Work well without supervision
Sheetrock repairs Self-starter
Change lamps and ballasts Be able to multi-task at high level
Climb ladders Team player
Work high up on personnel lift Computer literate in Word and Excel
