All of our classes are college preparatory. In addition to core courses, advanced courses, and electives, Briarcrest offers 15 Advanced Placement courses. Briarcrest students taking Advanced Placement (AP) are often eligible to receive possible college credit.
We will also offer a Dual Enrollment programs with Union University and University of Memphis allowing 11th and 12th grade students to earn college credits while finishing their high school graduation requirements.

Our beautiful campus located on 90 acres in Eads, Tennessee offers a “one-stop-shop” for two-year old preschool through 12th grade at our Houston Levee campus. This location is ideally located between Collierville, Germantown, Cordova, Eads, Arlington and Fayette County.
We have we also have a newly-renovated, state-of-the art strength and conditioning room. This new facility and our comprehensive strength and conditioning program has been specifically designed to offer each student athlete a workout and training program that is taliored for their individual sport. Saints Sportsplex also features a new film and media room in the Saints-Wilson Fieldhouse that is used for team flim watching, team meetings, and other special events. The new film and media room seats up to 100 people.
One of the centerpieces of our campus is the $7 million Sparks Chapel and Performing Arts Center. This beautiful 1,000-seat chapel and performing arts center features a full theatrical stage, full dressing rooms, an elite sound and lighting package and is considered one of top performing arts facilty in the Mid-South.
Briarcrest offers 17 sports teams in grades K-12. Our teams have produced state championships and many Briarcrest students have received athletic scholarships to many SEC schools.
Our Athletic Program is among the most comprehensive and successful in the Mid-South area. We have the privilege of playing in the TSSAA Division II West AA for large schools. We offer the most comprehensive program of boys’ and girls’ sports, including football, soccer, volleyball, cross country, golf, basketball, wrestling, bowling, swimming, trap shooting, baseball, softball, lacrosse, track, tennis and cheerleading.
The breadth and quality of our fine arts program is second to none. In our elementary program, we have a wonderful music and visual arts program. In middle and high school, we offer the full spectrum of choir, band, theater, and visual arts. These programs have been recognized with numerous individual and group awards for excellence.
Our Christian faith is integrated throughout all of our programs and courses of study. As an outreach of our Christian mission and philosophy, we have a great community service program. We also sponsor mission trips, both at home and abroad, that minister to people’s needs and provide opportunities to share God’s love.

We believe that qualified students who desire an education at Briarcrest Christian School should not be turned away because they cannot pay full tuition. Therefore, we have established a tuition assistance program to help families in need. Tuition assistance is awarded strictly on the basis of need in a completely confidential process. Non-Denominational, Co-Education Environment
Briarcrest Christian School is a non-denominational, co-education environment in which Christian values and biblical morals are taught and practiced in every aspect of school life. Unsurpassed Fine Arts Program In The Mid-South
The Briarcrest Christian School Fine Arts department has been recognized internationally for some of the best Performing Arts programs at any school.
The Briarcrest Christian School Fine Arts Department provides instruction for students beginning in PK2 (Little Saints) and continuing through grade 12 in visual arts, choral music, instrumental music, general music, and theatre arts.
The Vocal Music Department
offers elementary, middle and high school students a medium for musical expression. High school students may audition for the Honors Chamber Choir, Chorale, OneVoice, or the Concert Choir. They may also audition for the High School Spring Musical. High School vocal students also participate in events sanctioned by the West Tennessee Vocal Music Educators Association.
is the high school’s premier vocal ensemble. They provide auditioned vocal students a medium for advanced musical expression. Concert Choir members will receive training in musical fundamentals preparing them for placement in the Briarcrest Singers or a life making music. Each year the choir performs for chapels, churches, and local festivals. In Elementary and Middle School, the Saintly Singers are the premier vocal ensemble.
The primary goal of the Briarcrest Band program is to enhance the individual’s potential to understand music as an art form, to encourage the use of music as a form of expression, and to teach the value of music as an aesthetic experience. Our band program seeks to provide instruction which focuses on a sequential program of skills development, while allowing the student to grow intellectually and socially.
We have two award-winning commercial music ensembles, SoundScape and 76 South, both of which perform around the community and Southeast. They record annual professional albums.
Theatre Arts Program
Our theatre arts program is designed to allow students who are interested in acting and staging to participate in plays and musicals. The high school curriculum includes an introduction to theatre arts, classes in acting and dance, and a production workshop class. The dramatic production during the fall semester is a classical or modern selection.
Each fall, high school students perform a classical or modern production. Past productions include To Kill A Mockingbird, Thieves' Carnival, Little Women, Charlie Brown and The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940.
Fully-Staged Musical Productions for Elementary Students
We also offer a fully-staged musical for our elementary students in the Fall of each school year. Previous productions include Shrek, Jr.
Both Vertical and Horizontal in Approach
The Visual Arts department at Briarcrest is both vertical and horizontal in approach. Through the implementation of a cross-cultural and cross-curriculum based approach, each instructor intentionally connects art history and art making to math, science, history and writing. The Visual Arts are taught from a biblical perspective relating art production to art history, criticism and aesthetics.
Technical Production Program
offers students in High School the opportunity to learn about live audio, recording, video editing, film, lighting, set design, and more on over a million dollars of equipment in Sparks Chapel and Performing Arts Center and Studio 73.
