  • Valentine's Lunch with Moms

    We love sharing the month of love with our Moms.. Our annual luncheon gave us a chance to tell our moms how muh we love them. Moms enjoyed sharing lunch, visiting the photo booth, and shopping at the Be Free Revolution gift shop.
  • ACSI Geography Bee

    Congratulations to our BCS Elementary Students in the ACSI Geography Bee.  Briarcrest East Memphis campus was well represented by our third and fourth graders. Congratulations to Asher Wiggins - 3rd place in third grade and Harmon Kelly - 3rd place in 4th grade.  So proud of all our Geography Bee contestants... you are all winners!!!!The Geography Bee questions include geography and its implications throughout the world,  history, including the growth and spread of Christianity.  We are proud of these students and their accomplishments.  Way to Go Saints!!!
  • Coach C instills the value of teamwork during P.E. classes

  • Hibernation Day

    Mrs. Baird's Little Saints enjoyed a delicious breakfast from Chef Celli..... after tummies were full... it was time to enjoy hibernating with our teddies for the day!
  • Rocks and Minerals

    On a recent visit, second through fifth graders enjoyed learning about the various characteristics or rocks and minerals from around the country and the world. Thank you to Mr. Baldwin from International Paper for sharing your extensive rock collection and wealth of knowledge with our students! Our favorites were among the fluorescent rocks that glow when place under the fluorescent lighting.

Briarcrest Tutorial Program

Briarcrest has a tutorial program!  Our program offers students academic assistance in core subjects, assists with homework, grade improvement and other needed areas. Any BCS student is eligible to participate. This is our fourth year to offer tutoring services to students in SK-Grade 12. Fees vary according to individual or group tutoring. Please contact your child's teacher before applying to this program. For further information, our Elementary Guidance Counselor Mrs. Norton can assist you at 765-4662.

One-to-One Initiative

Beginning next school year, 2016-2017, our fifth grade students will have school issued MAC computers.  The computers will be used daily to enhance our curriculum and student learning.  Learning technological, research and project based skills is crucial in this technological age.  Briarcrest is committed to providing strong academic teaching within the one-to-one initiative.  You will hear more about this exciting addition to our curriculum in the near future.


Please remember to notify your child's teacher AND the school office (765-4662) if they will be absent or late to school. It is very important that your child be at school on time; however, we do realize that doctor and dentist appointments often cause them to check in late. Thank you for stressing to your child the importance of being at school and on time.


The Conservatory of Fine Arts is committed to helping students who are interested or gifted in the Arts discover and develop those talents. The Conservatory serves students in kindergarten through high school, offering private music instruction in the areas of piano, voice, guitar and violin both during the school day and after school.
