Anna Baccus will be attending the University of Georgia in the fall to study Music Therapy at one of the top programs in the United States.
She has been attending Briarcrest since preschool and has participated in Fine Arts since elementary. She was a member of OneVoice for 3 years, a member of the praise band, and a 4 year member of the Advanced Women’s Choir.
While in high school, Anna has participated in several productions, including Little Women (Jo March), Matilda (Miss Honey), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Hermia), and Singin’ in the Rain (Lina Lamont). Anna has also been selected as a nominee for Best Leading Actress in the Orpheum High School Musical Theatre Awards in 2022.
At the University of Georgia, she will study psychology, music theory, and the benefits of music for the brain in order to be a Certified Music Therapist.
