BCS Middle School XC Wins BIG At the Twilight Classic

Teams from seven different states traveled to Mike Rose Soccer Complex on Saturday for the Twilight Classic. Briarcrest middle school runner, Melaya Weisner took first place overall with a time of 7:19 for the 1.25 mile course.
Elizabeth Ganier also placed 16th out of 129 finishers from all over the Mid-South.  Maddie McKeithen, Ellie Reece Hatley, Lidia Schief and Mary Collins Tolbert all had a great race in perfect conditions at Mike Rose Soccer Complex.
Wilson Conway was the top finisher for the boys team with a 7:10 placing him 17th out of 143 runners.
Andrew Painter, Nathaniel Shaw, Max Hatley, Wyatt McGaskill, Holden Dajnowicz, Max Cooper, Henry Kirby, Vailen Howell, Mason Payne, Brandon Grant, Cooper Lockhart and Cory Easterling all proved BCS will be a strong team this season.
Coached by Sloan Cooper and Alex Ganier, the team has 31 runners on the roster. Go Saints!
