Senior Blair Jarvis Signs With Lee University To Play LAX Next Fall

Briarcrest SeniorBlair Jarvis signed a National Letter of Intent to play Lacrosse for Lee University in Cleveland, TN.  Blair has been playing lacrosse for eight years beginning in 4th grade. Since 8th grade, Blair has played competitively on the TNLax team out of Nashville.  She has played with TNLax in tournaments all over the south and northeast including Nashville, Richmond, VA, Baltimore, MD, Atlanta, GA, and Orlando, FL, just to name a few.

Blair was able to play and learn from the best Lacrosse players in the State of Tennessee and play against some of the best players on a national level. Blair has also played competitively on a local team, MemphisLax, which was started by her high school coach.  Over the past three years playing with MemphisLax, the team has played and won tournaments in St. Louis, MO, Chattanooga and Nashville. In 2018 as a freshman on the lacrosse team, Blair was named Freshman of the Year.  In her sophomore year, she was awarded Attack Player of the Year and was named to the All-West Regional Team. She was the teams leading scorer with 32 goals and recorded the most assists with 31 for the season.
During her Briarcrest career, Blair ran cross country her freshman and sophomore years and has been on the bowling team her junior and senior years. The bowling team competed in the state tournament her junior year in Murfreesboro.

One of the ways Blair has chosen to serve over the last several years is by volunteering at Room In The Inn. This is a ministry that services people experiencing homelessness by providing shelter, food, warmth, and sharing the love of the Christ. 

Blair is planning to major in Heath Science at Lee University.
