Senior Felicity Bost To Run Track and Cross Country At U of M
Briarcrest Senior Felicity Bost has signed her National Letter of Intent to run Track and Cross Country at the University of Memphis. She has been running competitively since elementary school. Each summer durning high school, she has competed for the Memphis Jaguars Club team where she is a former national champion in the 2000 meter Steeplechase. She also competed in the National Club Championships in Orlando, Florida, where she placed 6th in the 800 meter run and ran the first leg on the 4x100 relay team that finished fifth nationally.
Before attending Briarcrest, she competed for Houston High School, where she was a regional champion in the outdoor 800 meters, as well as finishing second & third in the state indoor meet for the 400 & 800 meters.
During her Briarcrest career for the the past two years, Felicity has also competed on the Cross Country team, in which her team has won regionals both years. She made All-State in the 2019 Cross Country season. Due to Covid-19, she wasn't able to compete in outdoor track but is hopeful for a competitive season this coming Spring. Felicity plans to major in Kinesiology at the University of Memphis. Congratulations Felicity!
