2016 Recipient

Robert Towns '03 was a multi-sport star at Briarcrest excelling in the sports of football, track and basketball. As a member of the Saints football team Robert scored the winning touchdown in double overtime to give Briarcrest its first state championship in 2002. Robert set school records for most touchdowns in a season and career and receptions for a season. Also, he was named a finalist for both the Commercial Appeal and Mr. Tennessee football player of the year. 
Upon graduating, Robert continued his career at Harding University where he was a 2 time All-American and a finalist for the Division 2 player of the year. Professionally, he played 2 years of Arena football.
Robert resides in Walls, MS with his wife Tristan.
