Dr. Brian Green

A native Memphian, Brian attended Briarcrest from 1978-1990. During his high school years, he was heavily involved in both the choir and drama programs. He used all of his solos and roles as opportunities to polish his craft and hone his leadership. As president of the Concert Choir, Brian exemplified true leadership with his talent, as well as his attitude. A Top Twenty Scholar during his senior year, Brian was recognized in the Senior Class Who’s Who as Best Performer.
 
After graduating from Briarcrest, Brian attended Furman University and continued his education at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis. He completed his residency in 2006 and his fellowship in 2007 from the University of Missouri-Columbus. Dr. Green later served as clinical instructor and assistant professor for the Clinical Radiology and Child Health department at the University of Missouri-Columbus before moving to Memphis. He is currently a Pediatric Radiologist with Memphis Radiological, PC (MRPC).
 
Brian and his wife, Lori, have five children, Alex (BCS ’18), Christian (BCS ’20), Lauren (BCS ’21), Zachary (BCS ’23), and Gracie (BCS ’25). As an alumnus and parent, Brian served on the Briarcrest Board of Trustees from 2012 – 2018. During that time, Brian and Lori generously supported many fine arts initiatives, including the Fulfilling the Promise Campaign, which brought the Sparks Chapel and Performing Arts Center to fruition. Brian continues to support and be involved in the arts locally by singing in the community at various events, as well as on the praise team and choir of his local church.
