Dual Enrollment
Briarcrest offers a number of Dual Enrollment (DE) courses that allow our students to take a challenging college course to earn both high school and college credit simultaneously through our partnership with the University of Memphis. The course follows a college curriculum, but is taught by Briarcrest teachers through a Biblical worldview.
Students must meet university requirements for dual enrollment courses and tuition and university fees may be incurred with these courses. A synopsis of each course can be found in the Program of Studies.
Advanced Placement
Advanced Placement (AP) classes are college-level courses taught at Briarcrest through a Biblical worldview. AP courses are designed for high-achieving students wishing to pursue challenging coursework while potentially earning college credit in high school by scoring well on a national AP exam at the end of the course. Students interested in taking an Advanced Placement (AP) course at Briarcrest will need to complete an application form.
For applications and more detailed information on DE or AP classes, see the guidance board on your
Parent Resource Board in onCampus. If you have any questions about the application process, please email
Lisa Godwin or see her in the Guidance Office.
