Technical Production

The Technical Production Class is a unique opportunity for students to have hands-on experience with all of the elements that come together to make various Fine Arts events happen.
Technical production provides a setting for students who desire to learn advanced techniques and gain practical experience in all phases of theater, recorded sound, live sound, and film production. Students will learn the skills to operate and execute lighting design, audio engineering, video production, and scenic construction. This class uses our state-of- the-art facilities and professional-grade equipment to take creative ideas and daring dreams and turn them into an amazing reality.
Students will learn the production aspects of theater through work on the school's plays and musicals. Aspects of sound, light, and video will teach students the skills required to engineer, plan and produce various shows, concerts, and plays.
Theatre Courses

Honors Advanced Acting gives students a chance to learn performance theory, methods, and improvisational technique while also performing in a class one-act play and gaining insight into a multitude of classic plays. This is a hands-on, movement-based class. Students can use the skills they develop to sharpen their audition skills, their collaborative acting, and their ability to embody characters on-stage.
Intro to Musical Theatre is a class that requires no previous experience in performing arts. Students learn the basics of acting, singing for auditions, and musical theatre choreography.
