at Briarcrest, we believe ministry begins in the home. As part of our mission to educate minds, engage hearts, and equip disciples, we offer a variety of parent engagement opportunities to help support parents as they raise children to become more like Christ.

Proverbs 22:6 Parent Equipping Series
Several times each semester, Jason Ellis (BCS Director of Student Ministries), hosts the Proverbs 22:6 Parent Equipping Class in the PAC Media Room. Jason tackles trending topics to help parents better understand shifting cultural worldviews while formulating a response strategy for their children that is grounded in God's Word. These informative sessions are free and open to current or prospective BCS parents, grandparents or primary guardians. This small group setting enables for a productive and informative dialogue as Jason discusses a wide variety of topics of interest and ends with a Q&A. Dates are promoted via the school emails and our social media channels.
Moms Bible Study
The Bible can feel overwhelming to read on your own, but together BCS moms can explore the incredible story of God's love and faithfulness. We’ll encourage and support each other as we learn about God’s amazing story.
Don’t miss this opportunity to grow in your faith while connecting with other BCS moms as we journey through the Bible in a year. Moms Bible Study meets on Tuesdays in the Cox Room.
Dads in Fellowship
Dads in Fellowship invites Briarcrest dads and granddads to meet, fellowship and train with one another for all of life's battles. This group meets formally and informally in a variety of locations on campus. Every other week, the group meets on Wednesday mornings in the Cox Room for a one-hour Bible study that begins after 7:10 - convenient for dads who drop their children off at school! The group also convenes in the PAC for a quarterly BBQ dinner and guest speaker series.
Moms in Prayer
Are you a Briarcrest Mom looking to connect with others while praying for our students and families? Join us for BCS Moms in Prayer! This group meets every other week on Thursdays in the Cox Room.
