Briarcrest Christian School maintains accreditation from Southern Association of Independent Schools and Association of Christian Schools International Exemplary Accreditation. In 2022, Briarcrest was awarded ACSI Exemplary Accredited status after an extensive evaluation process which is completed every five years.

Briarcrest is one of only nineteen schools internationally that is designated as an ACSI Exemplary School.

Briarcrest is also a member of the Association of Christian Schools International, Tennessee Association of Independent Schools, Memphis Association of Independent Schools, and the College Board.  We are also members of Cognia, Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association, West Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Association, West Tennessee Vocal Music Educators Association, Tennessee Music Educators Association, National Council for the Social Studies, Memphis-Shelby County Teachers of English, and Tennessee Council of Teachers of English, and Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association (TACA).

At Briarcrest - as in the real world - both girls and boys occupy leadership positions within the school and participate fully in the life of the school.

Briarcrest graduates enjoy a 100% annual acceptance rate to some of the finest colleges and universities in the world. 

BCS has maintained an AP test pass rate above 95% in each of the past three years, far outpacing the national average. 

We also offer Dual Enrollment programs with The University of Memphis, allowing 11th and 12th grade students to earn college credits while finishing their high school graduation requirements.   

These programs saved Briarcrest families more than $600,000 last year alone!

Briarcrest's average class size is 17 students. Our student/teacher ratio is 11:1. Our talented faculty are experienced educators, averaging 16 years of teaching experience. Sixty-seven faculty members have Master's degrees, and four have Ph.D. degrees. Thirty-six faculty and staff members are alumni.

Nestled on 115 acres in Eads, Tennessee, our campus features a high school, middle school, and elementary school serving students from two years old to 12th grade. Briarcrest offers more than 25 sports in grades K-12. Collectively, the Saints have claimed 65 combined team and individual high school state titles in our storied history.

More than 50 percent of all students at BCS participate in the Fine Arts program. We've had the most students qualify for and perform in the All-State Choir Ensembles of any school in Tennessee, public or private, over the last three years!
