Course Registration
Dual Enrollment Information
Briarcrest offers a number of Dual Enrollment (DE) courses that allows our students to take a challenging college course to earn both high school and college credit simultaneously through our partnership with the University of Memphis. The course follows a college curriculum, but is taught by Briarcrest teachers through a Biblical worldview.
Students must meet university requirements for dual enrollment courses and tuition and university fees may be incurred with these courses. A synopsis of each course can be found in the Program of Studies.
Advanced Placement Information
Advanced Placement (AP) classes are college level courses, taught at Briarcrest through a Biblical worldview. AP courses are designed for high achieving students wishing to pursue challenging coursework while seeking possible college credit while in high school by scoring well on a national AP exam at the end of the course. Students interested in taking an Advanced Placement (AP) course at Briarcrest will need to complete an application form.

Every spring, students begin the process of course selection and registration for the upcoming school year.
Course selection sheets are available for each grade to help identify departments and courses available to students. Registration and information meetings are held for families in February.
A list of all course selection forms, applications, recordings of parent meetings and presentation slides used at those meetings, can be found on your Parent Resource Board in onCampus. Testing Resources
Standardized testing is an integral part of preparing students for future academic success, and our teachers intentionally support this process by embedding test preparation into the day-to-day curriculum. The Counseling office provides school day opportunities for the ACT, PreACT, and PSAT in a familiar, supportive environment. This approach reflects our mission to educate minds, engage hearts, and equip disciples by fostering confidence, readiness, and purpose in every student.

Transcript Requests
All transcript requests for graduated students will be completed by Parchment. Parchment sends school records allowing for the secure and rapid exchange of electronic transcripts to colleges and requesting individuals. Parchment will notify you by email as soon as Briarcrest makes your records available to be sent. Parchment sends the electronic transcript immediately and another email is then sent to you indicating that the receiver can access the transcript.
