Athletic Information and Forms

PRIVIT is the online program which collects and manages forms required of all student athletes. Forms, including a student's physical, are good for 12 months from the day the physical is signed and is valid for all Briarcrest teams during that 12 month time period. It is preferred you get a physical in the spring that is dated no earlier than April 15th. Click for PRIVIT Instructions.

Once the required information has been completed and e-signatures have been applied to the necessary forms, the signed document will become available automatically for the appropriate staff member for review and approval. The Completion Status bar on the student athlete’s Home screen will turn green and indicate Submission Complete after all the forms have been completed properly. If the status bar is orange and indicating Submission Incomplete, hover your cursor to see what still needs to be completed.

BRIARCREST SPORTS MEDICINE

A PARTNERSHIP WITH CAMPBELL CLINIC ORTHOPAEDICS

Briarcrest has developed a partnership with Campbell Clinic Orthopaedics. The group provides sports medicine and athletic training coverage to the student-athletes at Briarcrest Christian School. This successful partnership dates back nearly three decades. In fact, Briarcrest was the first secondary school that Campbell Clinic aligned with in the Memphis community as official sports medicine provider.

This relationship enables Briarcrest students to receive attentive service from on-field athletic trainers, who serve at the school throughout the week during both practices and games. The trainers help prepare athletes for competition, direct rehabilitation at the school, and act as first responders on site in case an athlete needs immediate medical evaluation. Campbell Clinic also provides a dedicated team surgeon, Dr. Patrick Toy, who serves as medical director and oversees care for athletes with more serious injuries.

As the leader in Mid-South sports medicine, Campbell Clinic physicians serve as the official team doctors for the region’s top professional, collegiate and prep athletes. The 106-year-old clinic serves the Memphis Grizzlies, University of Memphis Tigers athletics, Memphis Redbirds, Rhodes College and Christian Brothers University. It is also the orthopaedic provider of choice for the AutoZone Liberty Bowl and FedEx St. Jude Classic golf tournament.

The first official day of practice for all TSSAA Fall sports is Monday, July 24, 2023.

Winter Sports

The first official day of practice for all TSSAA Winter sports is Monday, October 3, 2023.

Spring Sports

The first official day of practice for all TSSAA Spring sports is Monday, February 12, 2024.
