From the Principal
Choosing a preschool program for your child is so important. Laying a solid foundation during the formative years can establish a love of learning and affect your child’s development in the future. At Briarcrest, our goal is to equip our new little learners with the tools to help them think critically and independently. We strive to foster the development of the whole child.
We provide a solid academic program that establishes our students’ spiritual, social, and emotional growth and helps them flourish in the years to come. Our play-based and skilled-based learning programs allow our students to discover their unique gifts in a loving and nurturing environment.
But what truly distinguishes Briarcrest from other private schools in the Mid-South cannot be found in the descriptions of our curriculum or our extracurricular programs. Briarcrest has a devoted, nurturing faculty that is dedicated to the development of well-rounded students in a Christian environment in which our students flourish.
Briarcrest is a special place. We invite you to come in for a personal tour or join us for one of our Open Houses. See how Briarcrest can make a difference in your child’s life.

Christian Education for 2 - 4 Year Olds
In a nurturing and playful environment, caring and committed teachers launch a child's Christian educational experience by stimulating thinking skills, while addressing individual learning needs. The curriculum includes reading and writing, math, science, social studies, Spanish, and Bible. Students are given ample opportunities for listening, speaking, writing, drawing and painting, and imaginative play. Class sizes are small, with an assistant teacher in each room.
