    Minimum Qualifications
    2+ years previous experience in an analytical business office atmosphere 
    Must be able to take direction, work well with others, perform with accuracy under stress of deadlines
    Effective time management and multi-tasking required
    Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially excel, and adapts to new technology 
     
    Responsibilities
    Process semi-monthly and bi-weekly payrolls
    Track faculty and staff attendance
    Meet with new employees and volunteers to manage required paperwork and set up background checks
    Reconcile 941 and Suta reports
    Reconcile and distribute W-2 forms and 1094c reports
    Maintain reports for each school year 
    Prepare and distribute teacher contracts and staff letters 
    Other duties as assigned

  • Grounds Technician

     
    The Grounds Technician is responsible for maintaining all outside grounds at Briarcrest Christian School.  The Grounds Technician reports to the Lead Grounds Technician and the Building and Grounds Manager.  The Grounds Technician must be able to work outside for a minimum of 8 hours (lunch and breaks not included) and must be able and willing to work under adverse weather conditions.  

    The Grounds Technician must be very detail-oriented and must always leave it better than he/she found it. All Grounds Technicians must be able to lift 80 lbs and have the ability to be around plants and cut grass.  The Ground Technician must maintain a clean and neat personal appearance.  The Grounds Technician is required to follow all personal protective procedures 100% of the time it is required.  
    The Grounds Technician’s tasks are, but not limited to:
     
    Mowing Lawns, Islands and Common Areas              
    Ability to learn operation of Mowers
    Weed eating                                                               
    Edging curbs and sidewalks
    Flowerbed management (weeding/planting)           
    Hedge trimming
    Tree trimming                                                             
    Mulching
    Backpack blowing                                                      
    Trash removal and clean up
    Field Painting                                                              
    Parking lot painting
    Pressure Washing                                                      
    Minor irrigation repairs

    The Vice President of Business Affairs reports to the President and is responsible for the administration and oversight of the Accounting & Finance, Admissions, Marketing & Communications, Development, Information Technology and Support Operations departments.  The Vice President works with and supports the division level principals in accomplishing the educational goals of the school.  
     
    Minimum Qualification (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Professing Christian
    • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA and/or CPA designations are a plus 
    • Significant experience in accounting, finance, marketing, information technology, and business operations management
    • An understanding of and an appreciation for an independent, Christian, college preparatory school education
