    Briarcrest sends 100% of the student body to colleges and universities nationwide, including Ivy League schools and other prestigious institutions of higher learning. 
  • Advanced Placement Courses

    All of our classes are college preparatory. In addition to core courses, advanced courses, and electives, Briarcrest offers a multitude of Advanced Placement courses. Briarcrest students taking Advanced Placement (AP) are often eligible to receive possible college credit.  

    We will also offer a Dual Enrollment programs with The University of Memphis allowing 11th and 12th grade students to earn college credits while finishing their high school graduation requirements.

    Briarcrest's average class size is 18 students. Our student/teacher ratio is 11:1. Our talented faculty are experienced educators - our faculty averages 16 years of teaching experience. Sixty-two faculty members have Master's degrees, three have EdD degrees and three have Ph.D degrees. Thirty-one faculty and staff members are alumni.
  • Campus & Facilities

    Our beautiful campus located on 115 acres in Eads, Tennessee offers a “one-stop-shop” for two-year old preschool through 12th grade at our Houston Levee campus. This location is ideally located between Collierville, Germantown, Cordova, Eads, Arlington and Fayette County.  
    We have we also have a state-of-the art strength and conditioning room.  This magnificient facility and our comprehensive strength and conditioning program has been specifically designed to offer each student athlete a workout and training program that is taliored for their individual sport. Saints Sportsplex also features a new film and media room in the Saints-Wilson Fieldhouse that is used for team flim watching, team meetings, and other special events.  The new film and media room seats up to 100 people.  
    One of the centerpieces of our campus is the $7 million Sparks Chapel and Performing Arts Center.  This beautiful 1,000-seat chapel and performing arts center features a full theatrical stage, full dressing rooms, an elite sound and lighting package and is considered one of top performing arts facilty in the Mid-South.  

    Briarcrest Christian School has broken ground on the $5.3 million expansion of the elementary school.  The new construction at the elementary school will enhance Briarcrest’s ability to serve families at the beginning of their educational journey.  
    The elementary expansion will include an elementary multi-purpose gymnasium with a collegiate-size main court, a state-of-the-art elementary STEM lab, a new elementary art room, new classrooms and a playground specially designed for pre-school students.
     
     
  • Athletics

    Briarcrest offers 18 sports teams in grades K-12. Our teams have produced state championships and many Briarcrest students have received athletic scholarships to many SEC schools.  In 2019, Briarcrest WON THREE State Championships - Volleyball, Boys' Basketball, and Boys' Lacrosse.  

    Our Athletic Program is among the most comprehensive and successful in the Mid-South area.  We have the privilege of playing in the TSSAA Division II West AA for large schools. We offer the most comprehensive program of boys’ and girls’ sports, including football, soccer, volleyball, cross country, golf, basketball, wrestling, bowling, swimming, trap shooting, baseball, softball, lacrosse, track, tennis and cheerleading.

    Over the past six years, Briarcrest student athletes have been awarded 108 scholarships to 66 colleges and universities across the nation.  Since 1981, the Saints have won 24 Team State Championships and have numerous individual State champions.  In 2018-19, BCS had 18 student athletes recieve college scholarships.

  • Fine Arts

    The breadth and quality of our fine arts program is second to none. In our elementary program, we have a wonderful music and visual arts program. In middle and high school, we offer the full spectrum of choir, band, theater, and visual arts. These programs have been recognized with numerous individual and group awards for excellence. Briarcrest has the most comprehensive Fine Arts program in the Mid-South.  Many of our students win national competitions and receive full scholarships to top-ranked colleges and universities which include Berklee College of Music and Belmont University.  

    In 2018-19, Briarcrest Fine Arts Department has 12 Fine Arts students recieve scholarships to the top Arts colleges in the U.S. 

    Fifty percent of all students participate in the Fine Arts at Briarcrest.

  • Christian Ministry

    Our Christian faith is integrated throughout all of our programs and courses of study. As an outreach of our Christian mission and philosophy, we have a great community service program. We also sponsor mission trips, both at home and abroad, that minister to people’s needs and provide opportunities to share God’s love.

  • Tuition Assistance

    We believe that qualified students who desire an education at Briarcrest Christian School should not be turned away because they cannot pay full tuition. Therefore, we have established a tuition assistance program to help families in need. Tuition assistance is awarded strictly on the basis of need in a completely confidential process. Briarcrest does not award any athletic or academic merit scholarships.

    The rich heritage of Briarcrest Christian School lies in an unwavering commitment to Christian principles and academic excellence. Since 1973, the school system has provided its educational program to students from across the Mid-South.

    Over forty-six years later, approximately 7,000 graduates attest to the success of the school's mission to educate students in an environment where students can excel in all areas of student life. Briarcrest seeks to employ the best faculty in the region -- teachers possessing specialized higher academic degrees. We seek more than academic proficiency, our teachers and staff function as role models exemplifying Christ's teachings in the classroom, on the athletic field, on the stage and in all student activities.

    Our entire faculty and staff are committed to Briarcrest's distinctive mission that combines academic excellence with Christian character development.

    Programs for kindergarten through Grade 8 were begun in 1973, and a program for Grades 9-12 was added in 1974.

    By 2012, Briarcrest offered an accredited preschool program beginning with Little Saints (two-year-olds) through Pre-K (4 year-olds).

    The Briarcrest Christian School System, Inc., is operated as a not-for-profit corporation. A 15-member Board of Trustees operates the school system through the Administrative Staff. The Board is a self-perpetuating body which is representative of the constituency of the school.

    Briarcrest Class of 2019 were awarded approximately $20.1million in college scholarships.  This is the highest dollar amount awarded in recent BCS history.  The Class of 2019 was accepted to 116 colleges and universities in 25 states.

    Briarcrest Class of 2019 will be attending some of the top colleges and universities in the country.  Some of these will include: Washington and Lee University, Pepperdine University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, University of Virginia, Johns Hopkins University and the U.S. Naval Academy, just to name a few.
