Fundraisers
Throughout each school year, parents are asked to financially support various fundraisers such as:
- Athletic teams (concessions, ticket sales, team fundraisers)
- Fine Arts programs (musicals, plays, concerts, competitions)
- Service sponsored events and ministries such as jeans days, food, clothing & toy drives and Briarcrest Cares
- School sponsored fundraisers such as magazine sales, cookie dough sales and homecoming activities and Friday t-shirts
- PTF fundraiser – the live and silent auction and dinner on Sat., Feb. 9, 2013
- System-wide fundraisers such as Kroger cards
As you are asked throughout the school year to give to these different fundraisers, our hope is that this information will give you a better understanding of how these relate to financially supporting the Annual Fund.
Annual Fund
Although these fundraisers are important, giving to the Annual Fund is necessary to satisfy budget needs.
The Annual Fund exists to help bridge the financial gap between what is covered by tuition and the actual cost of education and activities offered. Tuition covers 83% of the operating cost at Briarcrest. With your Annual Fund support, we are able to keep tuition costs down for our families.
The best thing about donating through the Annual Fund is that you can specify which area you want to support such as athletics, fine arts, technology and school level enrichment. This allows you to contribute to the programs that relate to your family’s interests.
