Briarcrest History
|
The rich heritage of Briarcrest Christian School lies in an unwavering commitment to Christian principles and academic excellence. Since 1973, the school system has provided its educational program to students from across the Mid-South.
Forty years later, over 7,500 graduates attest to the success of the school's mission to educate students in an environment where students can excel in all areas of student life. Briarcrest seeks to employ the best faculty in the region -- teachers possessing specialized higher academic degrees. We seek more than academic proficiency, our teachers and staff function as role models exemplifying Christ's teachings in the classroom, on the athletic field, on the stage and in all student activities.
Our entire faculty and staff are committed to Briarcrest's distinctive mission that combines academic excellence with Christian character development.
Programs for kindergarten through Grade 8 were begun in 1973, and a program for Grades 9-12 was added in 1974.
