FINAL BOXTOPS COLLECTION
Thursday, May 8
Please send your General Mills Box Tops for Education, Campbell's Labels for Education and Tyson Project A+ panels to school with your child in a ziplock bag labeled with student's name and teacher's name. Don't forget to continue saving your box tops over the summer.

SR KINDERGARTEN RECOGNITION
Monday, May 12, 8:30am
SR KINDERGARTEN PARENTS, mark your calendars now. The annual SK Recognition will be Monday, May 12, 8:30am, in the Leawood gym. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and other special friends are invited.

KROGER CARDS STILL AVAILABLE
BCS Leawood just received a check for $300 because many of you bought a Kroger card from our school and used it for your purchases. Thank you so much! We will use our proceeds to help purchase needed classroom materials.
WE HAVE MORE CARDS AVAILABLE. Each card is pre-loaded with $5.00 and can be re-loaded at any Kroger store as often as you like and with as much money as you like. This truly costs you nothing and benefits our school. If you would like to purchase more Kroger cards for yourself or for family or friends who shop at Kroger, click on the Kroger Cards link below, print the order form (also being sent home in the Wednesday Runner) and send it with your student with exact cash or check payable to BCS. Your Kroger card(s) will be sent home in an envelope with your child. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

FINAL COUNTDOWN!
Can you believe it? The 2007-08 school year is almost over! Parents, please remember that the last three days (May 20, 21 & 22) are half-days. There will be no lunches served or Briarcare offered on these half-days.
The last day of school (May 22) will be our End-of-Year Carnival, and students will be dismissed with their parents from the Carnival. We must ask, for safety reasons, that at least one parent be present at the Carnival with each Pre-K and Jr-K student.

RT 2 FUN

Note from the principal:
