Welcome to the Briarcrest Christian High School Parent Teacher Fellowship!

As a parent of a High School Student, you are a member of the PTF and are invited to attend and participate in our monthly meetings. We have many opportunities for you to be involved and serve as much or as little as your schedule permits. It is a great way to meet people and become a part of the Briarcrest Christian High School experience.

PTF Notes, August 31, 2007

• The Freshman Retreat at Camp Cordova was discussed.
• Annual Phone-a-thon is October 1, 2, and 8.
• Online auction will be held the month of November.
• BriarFest will be April 26, 2008. This will be an exciting event for all ages and will be held at the high school. Information will be coming.

PTF Minutes, September 28, 2007

• Devotion and prayer given by Marcia Sullivan
• Race for the Cure will be held Oct. 27th, all encouraged to participate.
• Online Auction begins November 6th at 8:30 am and closes November 16th at midnight.
• Cindy Williams encouraged everyone to participate in the Annual Fund Phone-a-thon.
• Mr. Simpson agreed to another jean day to help raise money for PTF. This day was held in October.
• Briarfest planning has begun. We need participation from our high school parents/students. This event will be held on Saturday, April 26th at the High School Campus and will involve the entire school system.
• Sherri McGee Hodak will be spearheading a tailgate party for the ECS game on November 2. This will be for all freshmen and their families.
• Marcia Sullivan, Carol Austell, Beverly McClatchy and Donna Garrett will be spearheading tailgate parties for the sophomore class. Mary Lynne Rote told us that the Senior Class has been participating in a pre-game tailgate party. We would like for this to grow and be an on-going tradition.
• Carol Austell invited all moms for prayer at the main campus on Thursday morning’s from 8:00-9:00. The prayer group meets in the President’s office.
• Next scheduled meeting, October 26th, at 8:30 in the Cox Room.
