The Briarcrest Christian School Grandparents’ Auxiliary serves as a vehicle to help grandparents become more involved with their grandchildren’s school.
Briarcrest Christian School needs you! Most importantly we need your prayer support. We also need your wisdom. God has taught you much about His Word and His world through your experiences. You have seen and done things about which we would all love to learn.
We also need your help. Many jobs need to be done that would enhance the quality of education offered to your grandchildren. You can help in ways that no one else can.
Over the past three years members of the Briarcrest Christian School Grandparents’ Auxiliary have helped in the following ways:
- Served as Prayer Warriors for the BCS student body, faculty, and staff.
- Provided an outreach ministry for the entire BCS family.
- Assisted with the Welcome Back to School Luncheon for the BCS staff.
- Served as judges for Great Works of the Heart – Arts Festival.
- Helped sponsor the annual BCS auction
- Served as resource persons in the classrooms.
- Participated in the annual Grandparents’ Appreciation Banquet.
- Participated in the annual Grandparents’ Appreciation Day in the elementary, middle school, and high school.
- Participated in the annual BCS Grandparents Trip.
- Contributed generously through financial support.
We are most grateful for all types of support offered by our precious grandparents.

Performers from BCS alumni, grandparents, parents, students, and staff sang to a full house at the recent OLD-FASHIONED GOSPEL SING held to honor Briarcrest grandparents. The October 25th event took place at the 6000 Briarcrest Avenue. Special recognition was given to numerous multi-generational families in attendance. A reception followed the gospel sing.
