Is there a Parent Guide?
You should receive a Parent Guide in the Registration Packet that was mailed July 13.  Click here for the online copy of the Parent Guide.  The Parent Guide gives information regarding grading, attendance policies, code of conduct, bell schedules and much more!!

When will my child receive a schedule?
If you haven't already received a schedule, you may get one from the Guidance Office (751-6405).

Where do I purchase uniforms and what is the Dress Code?
All uniforms must be purchased from Dennis-Larose Uniforms, and each will be marked with the BCS school logo.  www.dennisuniform.com  (386-4231)  Click here for a copy of the 2009-2010 Dress Code.

Is there an online system for checking grades?
Information regarding NetClassroom (online communication system for students and parents) will be mailed near the end of July.  At that time, parents and students will be assigned a username/password to access schedule, grades, and attendance.  Click here for more information.

Are assignments posted online?
Yes.  Click on www.briarcrest.com/highschool, click on Teacher Pages (from the left menu) and then select the teacher's assignment you wish to view.

How do I purchase textbooks?

Will my student need a parking pass?
Parking passes will be sold through Student Services during the first two weeks of school.  Contact Lisa Cannon for more information (751-6403 or lwcannon@briarcrest.com).

What medical forms are needed?
Medical forms will be sent in the Registration Packet sometime around mid-July and should be returned to the HS Office.  Contact Nurse Betsy Ellis for more information (751-6407 or beellis@briarcrest.com).

Will my student use a school computer?
Yes.  There is a Resource Computer Lab as well as computers available in the HS Library for student use.  All students/parents (regardless of whether using a personal laptop on campus) will be required to sign and return an Acceptable Use Policy.  You may download this form and return it to the HS Office.  Forms will also be available at the New Student Orientation and Freshman Parent Welcome/Orientation on August 10th.

Will my student have a Briarcrest email address and access?
Yes. All HS students will be assigned a BCS email address and instructed on how to access the email from home and school.

Is my student issued an ID card?
Yes.  The ID card is made through the Saint Shop and can be done during the New Student Orientation (Monday, August 10).

Is there a lunch plan available?
Yes.  Sodexho is our food service provider.  Information regarding the lunch plan will be included in the Registration packet mailed in mid-July.  Contact Debbie Houston at 765-4631 for more information.

Should my student-athlete have a sports physical?
Sports physicals are required by TSSAA for all students participating on an athletic team.  Information can be found online: http://www.briarcrest.com/athleticsHighSchool.asp.
