Have you ever wondered what the PTF Board does? Who we are? When we meet? How to get involved?
The Briarcrest East Memphis Elementary PTF exists to promote Christian fellowship, communication, appreciation and financial support between parents, teachers and students. With over 700 students and 55 teachers in the BCS Elementary system, the PTF needs your time and talents!
We meet the first Friday of each month at 8:15am to review plans and monitor the progress of all PTF committee events. We welcome you to attend!
If you would like to learn more about the PTF or would like to serve on any committee listed below, please contact Nicole Kloek. We would love for you to join in the fun and fellowship!
“God has given gifts to each of you from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Manage them well so that God’s generosity can flow through you. Are you called to be a speaker? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Are you called to help others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then God will be given glory in everything through Jesus Christ. All glory and power belong to him forever and ever , Amen.”

Over $325 was raised for "Feed the Hungry in Memphis" from our September $1 Jean Day
Our "In His Service" committee coordinated another $1 Jean day on Friday, September 28th. The proceeds were donated to MIFA for the Meals on Wheels program. Thanks to Jeana Rogers and her commitee, and all the parents and students who participated!
Over $1,000 was raised for our school from the September Boxtops/Labels turn in!
Our next turn-in date is December 6th. Save your General Mills Box Tops as well as labels from Tyson foods, Campbell soups, Prego sauces, and Pepperidge Farms. Each child who participates in this program is rewarded with a small favor and the classroom with the biggest monthly turn in is also rewarded! Individually wrapped candy and small favors may be donated to support the reward system. Contact Karen Dula for more details.
Thank you for your support!
The PTF sponsored a Meet & Greet this summer to welcome new students and their families to Briarcrest. Gina Hays, Buddy Coordinator, planned a great event where new families had a chance to meet each other, as well as meet some current students and teachers.
Tables were available to sign up for Sodexho and Briarcare, have ID cards made, and pick up car decals. PTF Board members answered questions and gave tours. Everyone enjoyed ice cream sundaes. Thank you to all who worked hard to make this event a success!
