| The Class of 2008 will graduate on Sat., May 17 at 10 a.m. at Germantown Baptist Church. This class has distinguished themselves by earning over $7.3 million in scholarships and awards. In addition to this impressive figure, the class boasts 2 National Merit Scholars and 6 National Merit Commended Scholars. 23 members (15%) of the Class of 2008 scored 30 or higher on the ACT, with 30 members (20%) scoring 29 or higher. |

Senior Nico Barawid won the top spot in the General Scholarship category of First Tennessee's Academic All-Stars competition. Nico has been named Valedictorian, holding a 5.27 weighted GPA. He won a top award at the Memphis-Shelby County Science Fair and will compete in the Intel International Science Fair later this month. He will attend Yale University. |

The Lady Saints Softball team will be hosting the Baylor School out of Chattanooga, TN, in a best of three game series this week. The first two games will be held on Thursday, 5/15, at 4:00 and 6:00. There will be an “if necessary” on Friday, 5/16, at 3:00. All games will be held at the Saints SportsPlex. The first team to win two games will advance to the State Tournament in Murfreesboro, TN, next week. |
