After-School Care
Briarcare provides after-school care at an additional cost for BCS students in Preschool-Grade 8. For students in Preschool-Grade 5, Briarcare offers a secure, pleasant environment in which students may participate in a variety of physical, musical, and artistic activities. In addition, opportunities to complete homework, participate in games, and view appropriate TV programs/videos are provided. Snacks are served. Students in Grades 6-8 attend an after-school study hall, in which they may complete homework assignments. Briarcare staff members are certified teachers and assistants who exhibit Christian values in dealing with children.
Briarcare is not open on school holidays or early dismissal days.

Schedule and Fees
Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Locations: East Memphis Elementary Campus and Leawood Campus
Briarcare is NOT OPEN on school holidays or early dismissal days.

Registration Fee: $25 per child, NON-REFUNDABLE
Full-Time (3-5 days per week): First child-$160.00 per month ($1440 per year)
Additional Children: $150 per month ($1350 per year)
Part-Time (1-2 days per week): $10.00 per day
No discount for additional children
Late Pick-up Fee: $10 per 15 minutes after 6:00 p.m.

Full-time fees are billed monthly. Each of the nine payments is due by the 10th day of each month, September through May.
