course is a chronological and historical survey of the Old and New Testaments.
Two workbooks are required for this course. Bible History is a requirement
for graduation and a prerequisite for other Bible courses.

Letters – 1 credit
Prerequisite:
1924 Bible History
Paul’s
Letters affords the student an opportunity to follow the Apostle Paul through
his missionary journeys via the book of Acts. With that historical foundation,
study then focuses on the subsequent letters written to the Early Church. Relevant
principles of Christian living rise to the surface with each lesson. This course
is open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

Discipleship– 1 credit
Prerequisite:
1924 Bible History
Biblical
Discipleship is designed to be an application-oriented discipleship course.
The student learns what it means to be a completely devoted disciple of Jesus
Christ. Through an orderly study, he/she focuses on knowing Jesus and making
Him known in the world, even to those of other faiths. Relationships are also
thoroughly discussed, including Christian friendship, dating, marriage, and
family life. This course is open to juniors and seniors.

Ministry – 1 credit
Prerequisite:
1924 Bible History
This class meets in the morning before the school day begins, approximately twice a month. Students will be required to have a specific number of contact hours on the mission field, ministering to the needs of others. In the morning classes for both semesters, there will be a book study dealing with servanthood. This course is open to juniors and seniors.

Defense
of the Faith – 1 credit
Prerequisite:
1924 Bible History
This course focuses upon Christian beliefs and worldview, and then, it emphasizes defending those beliefs in the world of religious and worldview options. The class includes a unit on understanding the Bible, a unit on the essence of Christianity, and then focuses on apologetics and worldview. The course also includes a unit on world religions and cults and concludes with a unit on mission work and how Christians strategically impact their world. This class is only open to seniors.

Honors
Defense of the Faith – 1 credit
Prerequisite:
1924 Bible History and teacher approval
In addition to the curriculum covered in 4934, Honors Defense of the Faith challenges the student to further interact with the subject material, demonstrating a greater depth of understanding through the addition of summer reading and a research paper each semester. This course will engage students in discourse about other religions through personal interviews, guest speakers, and field trips to local religious centers. This class is only open to seniors.
